Neutral Outfit Idea For Fall

Hey ya'll! I'm excited to share with you guys one of my favorite outfits I've been wearing this season. This tan dress is so simple but can be dressed up with cute accessories like this hat and my favorite black booties. I bought the dress at a local boutique, but I will link a similar one here.

Perfect Thanksgiving Punch

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I've been on the look out for a good Holiday punch to go perfect with Thanksgiving dinner. I found this recipe on Pinterest and had to try it! Not only does it look pretty, it tastes amazing. It's also super easy (only takes five minutes to prepare). All of the flavors work perfectly together and it's definitely a new Holiday favorite!

Cranberry Pineapple Punch

  • 4 cups cranberry juice
  • 4 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 liter ginger ale
  • juice of 1-2 limes
  • ice
  • 2 limes, sliced
  • 1 cup of cranberries, frozen

  • combine cranberry juice, pineapple juice, and lime juice in a pitcher
  • add lime slices and cranberries to the pitcher
  • top off with ginger ale
  • add ice and enjoy!

Fun Fall Outfit Idea

Hey ya'll! It's finally starting to feel like Fall here in the South, so I thought I would share with you guys a fun Fall outfit.  I picked up this beanie from Forever21 last weekend and I love it! I thought it was so fun and cute with it's mickey mouse ears and the perfect accessory for a casual shirt and some jeans. These bean boots are from last year and they are from Tommy Hilfigure. I will link everything below!

My Fall Make-up Must Haves

Fall Makeup Must-Haves

Hey ya'll, I hope everyone is enjoying their Fall weather! It's still 80 degrees here in Georgia, but the hot weather doesn't stop me from wearing my Fall clothes and my favorite Fall makeup products. Today I wanted to share with ya'll my "must have" makeup products for the Fall season. All of these are actually new purchases I have made in the past few months and they have all become daily staple products for me.

The Carli Bybel Palette  has to be my favorite makeup product at the moment. If you haven't noticed already, I am a lover of warm tones. This palette gives you a wide variety of warm tones to choose from and they are perfect for Fall! It also comes with four highlighter shades, and only cost $15.00! I'm amazed at the quality of this palette for the cost and I'm so glad I picked this one up.

The Naked3 Palette  is pretty similar to the carli bybel palette but the shadows in this one are a lot better quality. I like to use this palette for more formal events because they stay in place for so long and they are so pigmented! This is definitely a holy grail product in my makeup collection.

I love the liquid lipstick trend but I can never seem to find any products that are affordable and not super drying on the lips. I ordered three of the Colourpop matte liquid lipstick off their website and fell in love with them. They were super cheap (only $6.00) so I didn't really know what to expect but the colors apply beautifully to the lips and aren't overly drying. I will definitely be picking more of these up in the future.

The Toofaced Better than sex mascara was the first high end mascara I have ever purchased. I had heard so many great things about it and had to pick it up. I love this mascara because it gives you volume and length without making your lashes clumpy and unnatural!

The Covergirl matte BB cream claims to be perfect for oily skin and have good coverage. I was skeptical at first, because I like to wear full coverage foundations and I'm super picky about what I use. But I am so so glad I tried this because it does exactly what it claims to. I never thought a BB cream could have so much coverage yet still be so lightweight like a normal BB cream. This product amazed me and I will definitely be repurchasing!

Vintage Inspired Outfit

Hey ya'll! Today I wanted to share this cute vintage inspired outfit with you guys. I picked up this dress a while back from Old Navy but it's still hot enough to wear it here in the South considering it's still 80 degrees outside! These shoes are from Forever21 and they only cost $15.00.
This is actually the first time I am getting to use my new camera lens and I am in love with how the pictures turned out, and photo creds to my little brother for his mad photography skills.

Books I'm Loving

Hey ya'll! Happy Wednesday. I wanted to do something a little different today and share with you guys some of the books I have been loving! Out of all of the books I have read in the past few months, these have really stuck out. If you have a chance pick one of these up and let me know what you think!

 Uninvited-Lysa Terkeurst

Uninvited is a book about rejections, how they effect us, and how we deal with them. We have all experienced rejection at some point in our lives, this book helps us overcome them by acknowledging them and moving forward by finding our true worth and identity in Jesus Christ. I absolutely loved this book! Lysa is a beautiful writer and her words hit home with me. I highly recommend to young women that have experienced any type of rejection in their lives!

"Something wonderfully sacred happens when a girl realizes that being set aside is actually God's call for her to be set apart."

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People-Stephen R. Covey

The 7 habits of highly effective people is the best self help book I have ever read. It's so simple, but it somehow caused me to look at life through a different lens and help me understand a lot about myself and others. The book tackles 7 habits to help you solve personal and professional problems and helps you live a life of fairness, integrity, honesty, and human dignity.

"The proactive approach is to change from the inside out: to be different, and by being different, to effect positive change in what's out there. I can be more resourceful, I can be more diligent, I can be more creative, I can be more cooperative."

Looking for Alaska-John Green

This was one of those books that you just have to sit and contemplate life every time a new chapter started. It's that good. It's about a teenage boy who goes to a new boarding school in Alabama to "seek a great perhaps" and ends up falling in love with the intriguing miss Alaska Young. John Green has a way of making something so simple so interesting and relatable. You won't regret reading this one!

"We are all going, I thought. And it applies to turtles and turtlenecks, Alaska the girl and Alaska the place, and nothing can last, not even the earth itself."

The Magnolia Story-Chip and Johanna Gaines

If you are a fan of Chip and Johanna Gaines' show Fixer Upper, I'm sure you have heard of this one. If you aren't a fan, what's wrong with you?? If you haven't heard of them, where have you been?? Chip and Johanna are the perfect example of love, family, humor, and hard work. In this book, they talk about how they got where they are today all by God's design and perfect plan for their lives. I've always loved them and this book made me love them even more!

Thanks so much for reading! What book should I read next? I'm always up for a good read!
