DIY Watercolor Christmas Cards

Monday, December 18, 2017

I have always loved adding personal touches to my Christmas gifts. One of my favorite ways to do that is by making my own Christmas cards! These DIY watercolor cards are super easy and fun!

Items needed:

For the wreath Christmas card, I started out by tracing the lid of a mason jar to get a perfectly round shape.

Then I used green watercolor to paint the garland.

After the garland was completed, I used red watercolor to make red dots to look like berries!

Then I wrote Merry Christmas with my black marker and I'm finished!

For the Christmas tree card, I simply moved my paint brush back and forth in the shape of a Christmas tree. I didn't have any light green paint in my pallet, so I mixed the green with yellow to get the color I was wanting!

This card was super simple and I loved how it turned out!

Which one is your favorite? What's your favorite Christmas DIY?
