How I Stay Inspired & Productive

Let's be real, following the same daily routine everyday can get boring and unmotivating, which can cause you to feel uninspired and lacking productivity.  I have personally been there many times, and I'm honestly just now coming out of a rut that I was in for months. It's easy to get there but hard to get out, but today I'm sharing with you 5 tips that always keep me feeling inspired and productive! 





1.  GET ACTIVE! 
One of my biggest and most important tips is to get outside and get active. A body in motion stays in motion, while a body at rest stays at rest. If you want to have more energy and motivation, start moving! Join a gym, go on a hike, take a walk, or ride a bike. The opportunities are endless and i promise you won't regret it. 


2. READ A BOOK
Reading has always been a way for me to escape my own thoughts and see someone else's point of view about things. If it wasn't for books, I wouldn't be who I am today. I have learned so much through reading and when I find myself getting out of the habit of picking up a book, I can definitely tell a difference in my mood and mindset. I challenge you to pick up a book and commit yourself to finishing it within a week. I guarantee that you will pick up another one and start your journey of becoming a better you!

3. LISTEN TO PODCASTS/ ONLINE SERMONS 
Being a full time college student along with trying to juggle this blog, relationships, and everyday life, my schedule can be overwhelmingly busy at times. I like to use my time driving to listen and sermons and podcasts, and I can honestly say that it's one of my favorite parts of my day. To sit and be fed God's word as I drive and watch the sun rise, prepares me for my day and always leaves me feeling inspired.

4.CHANGE THINGS UP 
I am personally a very visual person so changing up my surroundings to feel inspired is a must. Just something as simple as rearranging your furniture, to adding a piece of wall art makes more of a difference than you think. Also things like buying a new outfit, dying your hair, or deep cleaning your house to feel fresher and more energized is life changing. Don't be afraid to change things up a little!


5. CREATE GOALS 
Short term and long term goals are important to keep you inspired and headed in the right direction. Without goals, you are aimlessly going through life which can definitely cause you to feel depressed and unmotivated to do anything. I like to keep a journal with short term and long term goals, and I work toward them little by little every single day. It keeps me inspired to keep going, and having my "end goal" in mind helps me to work harder even on days when I want to give up.
